About AXON

AXON (UK) Limited has was established in 1991 as part of a management buyout of the Hornbæk Company. The aim of the company was to provide training and consultancy in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Methods. As part of that objective the company also ran a number of associated Seminars on IBM's Data Repository, The Data Warehouse, Object-Oriented Methods Comparison, Application Development, Document Management, Content Management and Knowledge Management.

The Company has been involved in Application Development from it's formation. A number of systems have been developed for clients, such as: an Executive Information System for The Electricity Pool of England and Wales, a package to assist in the production of proposals for Grafton Technology and software to assist in the collection of interview data (AIMS). We were involved in the development and launch of www.thetube.com for London Underground Limited. Our experience has covered Document Management, Content Management and Knowledge Management.
